Petition filed on Fenster publishing house's insolvency in Latvia

At this time, Fenster publishes the Russian language newspaper "Vesti Segodna", "Vesti", "7 Sekretov", "TV-programma" (in Russian and Latvian), "Latvijas Santims", "Majas Dakteris", "Delovie Vesti", reports LETA.
Fenster, established in 1993, is 75%-owned by Andrejs Kozlovs since 2007.
The company has fallen on hard times, with its 2010 profit dwindling to a mere LVL 1,050. Turnover was down one-fourth compared to 2009 at LVL 2.97 million.
