Ernst & Young turned to a court because Alta Capital refused to pay the bill for auditors' work, considering the services unsatisfactory.
A lawyer of Alta Capital, Anton Sigal, explained that the company was not satisfied with quality of work by Ernst & Young specialists. However, Sigal refused to specify details of the dispute.
Hanno Lindpere, a partner of Ernst & Young Baltic, refused to comment on the claim.
According to Eesti Päevaleht, the auditor is claiming about 300,000 euro from Alta Capital that owns Silvano Fashion Group, the Latvian dairy company Rigas Piensaimnieks and the Polish candy maker Mieszko.
Alta Capital belongs to four Estonian enterpreneurs – Indrek Rahumaa, Jaak Raid, Andres Rätsepp, Priit Põldoja, and to Marius Binkevicius.
