300 craftsmen and natural food producers to take part in Midsummer Market on Dome Square in Riga

Print versionOn June 22, 300 craftsmen and natural food producers will participate in the traditional Midsummer Market on Dome Square in Riga's Old Town, LETA was informed by Riga City Council's spokeswoman Ilona Bruvere.

Traditional "Jani" herbs, cheese with caraway seeds, bread, honey, fish, dried and smoked goods will be sold starting at 9 a.m. An hour later, at 10 a.m., the brass band "Fanfara" will kick off the day in festive atmosphere.
Local residents and guests will also be able to enjoy performances by several bands, ensembles and choirs – "Put vejini", "Opuss", ""Hagenskalna muzikanti", "Apvedcels".
This year, a market will also be held at "Konventa seta" and it will be open until 5 p.m.
