Estonian Selver chain to open three stores in Latvia in 2008

“Ogre will not be our first store,” said Saar. “If everything goes well, we will open three stores in Latvia this year, but none of them will be in Riga,” she explained.
The first Selver store will be opened in Riga in the year 2009, but it is not yet certain, where. “We have a couple of options there, but at the moment I do not dare say, where the store will be located,” said Saar.
She noted that Selver’s idea to open 15 stores in Latvia by the end of next year is still in force and the work progresses in the name of that objective. “The things are more or less going according to plans, but it can never be said that now everything is certain,” said Saar.
More than 130 million kroons will be invested into Selver stores in Latvia. In Estonia the chain has 30 stores.
