In 2010, the volumes of the bank Snoras, participating in the financial leasing market with its services Pirk Issimoketinai (agreement on hire-purchase) and Grynieji (in cash), have grown twice compared with 2009 and stood at 169 million litas (49 million euros). This tool of financial leasing was most often employed for purchasing domestic appliances and computer equipment, TV sets, furniture, security systems, communication means, also for paying bills of medical services, travels and driving courses.

In 2009, the bank signed total of 109,000 new agreements with 92,000 residents of Lithuania. The volume of the leasing service Pirk Issimoketinai, which allows purchasing goods or services at the sales points of the bank's partners, reached 110 million litas (31.9 million euros), with 86,000 agreements, writes LETA/ELTA.

This tool of financial leasing was most often employed for purchasing domestic appliances and computer equipment, TV sets, furniture, security systems, communication means, also for paying bills of medical services, travels and driving courses. Meanwhile the number of the financial leasing service Grynieji agreements totaled 23,000 with 59 million litas (17.1 million euros) financed for the bank Snoras' customers. The users of this service usually prefer a longer period of the contract, the average of which reaches 30 months.

General Director of the Bank Snoras Aurelijus Svetkauskas says that such breakthrough in leasing services was influenced by a new consumer crediting service Grynieji, launched last year, which allows obtaining a credit of up to 10,000 litas (2,900 euros) in a short time.
