Aldaris and Riga "Dinamo" have announced a competition for the best slogan for the new beer brand; "Dinamo" will be transferred one santim for each "Uzvaretaju alus" bottle sold, writes LETA.

Aldaris CEO Thomas Panteli said that the new beer will arrive in stores in July, and that Aldaris is looking very much forward to seeing fans' proposals for the best slogan for the new beer.

Riga "Dinamo" Director General Zigmars Priede urged each and every Latvian hockey fan to send in their ideas for the best slogan to promote the new beer brand.

"Given that our team is the only Kontinental Hockey League club to have a beer brand dedicated to it, we have agreed that this calls for a special slogan," said Priede.

Hockey fans are invited to send in their e-mails to "[email protected]" until June 30, and include their full name and surname. The winner will receive a seasonal pass to all Riga "Dinamo" home games, whereas the authors of the best five slogans will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in the "Uzvaretaju alus" opening ceremony.

Aldaris has been the main sponsor of Riga "Dinamo" since 2009. The sponsorship agreement between the brewery and "Dinamo" stipulates that their cooperation will continue for at least three more years.

Aldaris, founded in 1865, is the largest brewery in Latvia and one of the largest in the Baltic countries.
