Nina Kolyako, BC, Riga, 25.06.2008.Print version
Rhenus Revival opened an extension at its business center in Obukhov near Kiev on 1 May 2008. The new building measures 2,700 square meters and provides space for more than 2,500 pallets. The extension to the facilities at the site was necessary as the demand for logistics space for chemical products in Ukraine has continued to rise and Rhenus is using this center to offer its services to other countries in the CIS in addition to Ukraine.

“The new facility underlines the significance of Rhenus as a logistics partner for the chemicals industry in Ukraine,” explains Oleg Verzhbytskyy, Managing Director of Rhenus Revival in Ukraine. An ADR warehouse license (The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), ADR certification for the drivers and the ability to follow European safety standards provide our customers with service at the normal quality levels and most of them are working in the international chemicals industry. Ukrainian employees with a knowledge of the language and country guarantee that the Rhenus business operates without a hitch.

The business center at Obukhov has been operating for 15 years and now covers an area measuring 40,000 square meters. Rhenus Revival provides its customers in Ukraine with every kind of service from under one roof: importing goods from Europe by truck or consignments by rail, sea or air, providing customs and insurance services and even warehousing, picking and delivery to the final consumer. There is also a customs warehouse available, where goods can be stored for up to three years without the need to complete customs formalities.
