Compared to the same period last year, the company's EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) improved by 67%, and Bite Latvija Chairman Fred Hrenchuk expressed his satisfaction that, despite the difficult macroeconomic situation, Bite Latvija had managed to improve its financial results, writes LETA.

"Bite managed to do it because the company provides the individuals with a possibility to make a smart choice by choosing a high quality service that customers need for a low price," said Hrenchuk in praise of his company.

As LETA was informed by Bite Latvija public relations specialist Liga Murniece, the mobile operator's revenue increased by 29% in the first quarter of 2010.

Bite Latvija has operated in Latvia for four years, providing mobile networks for both private and business clients. The operator also provides the pre-paid card service "BiFri".
