US company Moog Medical Devices to be established in Lithuania

The U.S-based enterprise Moog Medical Devices, which controls Lithuanian company Viltechmeda, is going to invest four million euros in establishment of its major European scientific research and technology development centre in Lithuania, LETA/ELTA reported, referring to LitNews.

Moog Medical Devices will employ 50 Lithuanian professionals in the new centre, based in the science and business valley Santara.
The organisation targets development of medical technologies and innovations.
Moog Medical Devices, a part of the international Moog Inc group, acquired 100-% holding of the Lithuanian company Viltechmeda in January 2009 for 15 million euros.
