Print versionChancellor of the Ministry of Health in Lithuania Rimantas Remeika asks the Government to evaluate the acquisition of linear accelerator Clinac 600C/D by Institute of Oncology of Vilnius University (VUOI) and take immediate action to return the Public Investment Programme (VIP) funds allocated to VUOI – 1 million litas (0.28 euros) – to the state budget.

The SAM Chancellor points out that by purchasing the linear accelerator Clinac 600C/D VUOI violated the Law on Public Procurement.
