Lithuanian Klaipedos Nafta will pay greater dividends

Print versionLithuanian company Klaipedos Nafta stated in its statement regarding dividend payment possibilities to NASDAQ OMX that dividends for last year could likely exceed the previous year's level due to the successful financial results, writes LETA.

The company has finished the year exceeding the design capacity of the terminal. The annual results were fine. The profit was significantly greater than of the previous year. Therefore, it seems likely that Klaipedos Nafta will pay the greater dividends, the company's representatives noted.
Subject to the successful operational results, dividend payment possibilities can be realistically forecasted taking into account the decisions made by the shareholders in future, the statement said.
As reported, Klaipedos Nafta transported 7659.7 thousand tons of oil products from in 2009, of them – 775.3 thousand tons of oil products in December.
