Eesti Telekom shares delisted

Print versionEstonian Central Securities Depository (CSD) transferred minority shares of Estonian telecommunications company Eesti Telekom to a majority shareholder – Scandinavian enterprise TeliaSonera on January 12, 2010, which means that delisting preconditions were fulfilled for Eesti Telekom, and shares of Eesti Telekom will be delisted from the Main List of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn starting from January 13, 2010, the Stock Exchange statement of Eesti Telekom says.

On December 21, 2009, the Listing and Surveillance Committee of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn made a decision to satisfy application of Eesti Telekom from November 30, 2009, and delist its shares from the Main List of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn starting from the next day after the Estonian CSD has transferred minority shares to the majority shareholder – TeliaSonera, informs LETA.
