First "Apart" fashion store to be opened in Riga

Today, on August 6, in the shopping mall "Spice" in Riga, at 18:00, the first fashion store in Baltic States carrying the brand "Apart" will be open, as board chairman of Apart Balticum, Irina Patrasanu, informed LETA.

During the opening, a show of the new collection is expected, and the event will be held by TV celebrity and fashion expert Maija Silova.

 

For the foundation of the store 150,000 lats were invested, and its total area is 209 square meters, whereas trade space is 185 square meters. The service staff will be represented by 11 workers.

 

The store will be opened for the visitors starting from August 7.

 

Patrasanu said that next year in Riga another store is expected to be opened, and in the next three years expansion of the brand in Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland.

 

In the Baltic States and Finland, "Apart" stores are being developed under a franchise agreement. The franchise rights for this store were granted to the company "Apart Balticum" in the Baltic States and Finland.

 

Most of the "Apart" clothing collections is made in workshops in Germany and Eastern Europe, whereas shoes and bags are delivered from Spain and Italy.

 

Apart International is a subsidiary company of a retail trade company Otto Group the headquarter of which are located in Hamburg. "Otto Group" expands this brand in Germany, France, Denmark, Russia, as well as in other Eastern European countries, and in total encompasses 123 companies employing more than 51,000 people in 19 countries.

 

The first fashion stores of "Apart" were opened in such German cities as Hamburg, Berlin, and Hanover in 2008.
