Palink FY profit up 2.7 times

Palink, the operator of Iki, one of Lithuania's largest retail chains, last year netted a consolidated profit of 9.66 mln euros, which indicates increase by a factor of 2.7 from 3.609 mln euros in 2014, informs LETA/BNS.

The company's consolidated revenue from sales went up by a factor of 1.4 to 596.659 mln euros in 2015 year-on-year, Palink said in a 2015 report submitted to the Center of Registers.
The group includes Palink and its subsidiaries Eglidama and Latvia's Crec. At the end of 2015, Palink operated 241 stores in Lithuania (238 in late 2014).
Some 44.35% of Palink's shares are owned by Germany's retail giant Rewe, 20% belong to Baltisches Haus and Swiss-registered Coop each, 10.5 % are owned by Belgium's Eln. Fr. Colruyt and 5 % by France's Unilec.
