Estonian Ajakirjade Kirjastus acquires rights to 3 magazines

AS Ajakirjade Kirjastus, a joint company of the listed Estonian media holding Ekspress Grupp and magazine publisher Presshouse, has signed an agreement whereby it acquires from Presshouse the rights and obligations related to the publication of Naisteleht, the largest weekly women's magazine in Estonia, Nipileht and Mustiline Ajalugu, informs LETA/BNS.

Ekspress Grupp owns 50% of the shares of Ajakirjade Kirjastus, the company told the stock exchange. The other owner is Suits Meedia.

 

Naisteleht made its debut in 2006 and at present has an average print run of 25,000.

 

Nipiraamat, on the market since 2008, has an average print run of 12,000.

 

Mustiline Ajalugu began to be published at the end of last year and its print circulation is 12,000 copies.

 

As the publisher of 35 magazines, Ajakirjade Kirjastus has more than 600,000 readers in Estonia.
