MEP signs cooperation agreement with Latvian farmers' association

Print versionThe Cooperation Council of Latvian Farmers' Organizations will have Iveta Grigule /Greens-Farmers/ as its connection in the European Parliament/EP, thanks to a cooperation agreement signed yesterday, reports LETA.

Grigule is to represent the interests of Latvian farmers in EP, and promptly inform Latvian farmers about the latest developments in the sector at the EP level.
CCLFO Chairman Edgars Treibergs commented that the agreement will "give the opportunity for the MEP to quickly and effectively get a grasp of the problems farmers face, and relay the message to the proper authorities in EP/EU."
