"People make decent work and do not take big risks. We don't comment on our results," Peeter Kallakas, the CEO of Kajax Fishexport said.
He added that the company's operations have been stable all the time.
Oleg Omeltsenko, the manager of the company, writes in an annual report that the reason for five-folded profit was lack of money for which people bought cheaper fish products.
75% of income came from export to Ukraine. Big amount of fish went to Russia, Moldova, Romania and Poland. In Estonia, the company earned 0.5% of their turnover.
In 2007 Kajax Fishexport earned profit of 2.5 million kroons, and the last year earnings amounted to more than 11 million kroons.
