Belokon files court claim against Blackpool Football Club co-owners

Print versionValeri Belokon confirms that on September 15th his company VB Football Assets (a shareholder in Blackpool Football Club (BFC)) issued a claim for unfair prejudice in the London High Court against Messrs Owen Oyston and Karl Oyston and their company Segesta Limited., reported BC Belokon Holdings.

Mr Belokon also confirms that VB Football Assets has issued related proceedings against Segesta Limited concerning an investment it made in July 2008.
Belokon has filed the claim mainly because, since Club’s promotion to the Premier League, millions of pounds of BFC monies were transferred by the Oystons from the BFC to Oystons’ companies via unsecured interest-free loans and directors’ remuneration payments.
The claims were filed with the High Court on behalf of VB Football Assets by Clifford Chance on September 15, 2015.
