Latvian Lauma Fabrics saw 16% increase in turnover in 2013

Textile producer Lauma Fabrics achieved EUR 39.85 million in turnover in 2013, which was 16% more when compared to the previous year, according to Firmas.lv, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

In 2012, the company achieved EUR 34.47 million in turnover.

 

In 2013, Lauma Fabrics posted EUR 3.93 million in profit, which is a bit less when compared to 2012, when the company posted EUR 4.03 million in profit.

 

The company points out in its financial report that it invested EUR 2.44 million last year in the purchase of new equipment and technologies.

 

This year, the company expects to achieved EUR 44.26 million in turnover, and make another EUR 1.856 million in investments.

 

The company's major markets last year were Belarus, the Baltic States, Ukraine, Poland, Russia and France.

 

Lauma Fabrics employs 551 persons and belongs to the Cyprus-registered company Myrtyle Ventures Limited.
