Jules Verne Riga French School opens new class rooms

The opening ceremony for the new class rooms at Jules Verne Riga French School just got under way, attended by Vice-Mayor of Riga Andris Ameriks (Honor to Serve Riga) and the French Ambassador in Latvia Stefan Visconti.

Press Secretary at the French Embassy in Latvia, Jevgenijs Borisovs informed LETA that the opening ceremony will be held in uptown Riga, 20 Patversmes Street.

 

More space was necessary at the school due to increased enrollment.

 

The Jules Verne Riga French School was founded in 2007 with assistance from the French Embassy, actively facilitating international influence and vitality of Riga. The school offers Latvian and foreign students in Riga the chance to acquire inter-cultural education, recognized as one of the best in the world, based on the French educational system and pedagogical traditions.

 

Jules Verne Riga French School is part of the international network of French schools and lyceums.

 

The bilingual – French/Latvian – studies program, which is supplemented with the Russian and English languages as well, provides the students with the advantage to build an international career and a future crowned with success.
