LRT technology innovation was presented in Vilnius

Print versionIn the sitting of the Board of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) which was taking place on Tuesday, Director General Audrius Siaurusevicius informed that, as the Seimas approved of the new budget, the assignation for the LRT increased by 8%, informs LETA/ELTA.

To put in simple words, the assignation returned to the level which was relevant in 2007. The newest LRT technology innovation was presented to the Board.
"Next month, LRT will start the era of the high-definition television," said Siaurusevicius.
At the end of January, the new chancel LRT HD will be launched will be available for the people having the cable television.
"Without the increase quality of the view, the viewers will be offered to choose the language and the subtitles of the program.
All members of the board of the LRT supported the idea to launch new channel.
