Samsung Electronics Baltics leader in retail of household and garden appliances in Latvia in 2012

Print versionWith a turnover of LVL 193.58 million, appliances retailer Samsung Electronics Baltics was the leader in household and garden appliances retail in Latvia in 2012, according to the Latvian Business Report 2013 collated by Firmas.lv and Nozare.lv, informs LETA.

Sanitex Baltic Distribution was second with a turnover of LVL 68.68 million, followed by Green Trace – LVL 59.08 million, Balta bura – LVL 54.98 million, LG Electronics Latvia – LVL 52.17 million, Stockmann – LVL 44.94 million, Global Commerce – LVL 40.74 million, ETG – LVL 34.63 million, MK Trade – LVL 31.26 million, and Proks – LVL 24.98 million.
The economic situation in Latvia stabilized in 2012 and 2013. Residents become more optimistic, dedicated more attention to improving their homes and purchasing durable goods.
The report also states that the need to learn how to change faster and follow buyers' needs and wants has helped the companies raise customers' loyalty.
