At the weekend, Lithuania-based company Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil) transferred a record amount – 92,250 tonnes – of fuel oil to tanker Aegean Harmony in 37 hours, informs LETA/ELTA.
According to Rokas Masiulis, CEO at Klaipedos Nafta, the ability to fill big tankers increases the demand for the terminal of Klaipedos Nafta and encourages suppliers of oil products to choose the direction of Klaipeda.
As a result, both the Port of Klaipeda and company Lithuanian Railways benefit.
The State of Lithuania owns 72.32% of Klaipedos Nafta shares.
