Most profitable Latvian entrepreneurs last year - Arnis Riekstins, Olegs Fils and Argods Lusins

The most profitable entrepreneur in Latvia last year was Internet solutions company Mikrotikls co-owner Arnis Riekstins, according to a study carried out by journalists Lato Lapsa and Kristine Jancevska, in cooperation with the business magazine ''Kapitals'', register of enterprises 'Lursoft and the corporate finance company Laika stars.

Riekstins earned LVL 8.11 million in 2012, reported LETA/Nozare.lv.


ABLV Bank co-owner Olegs Fils was second in the list, earning LVL 7.2 million last year, followed by Argods Lusins, the owner of fuel wholesaler Kurzemes degviela, who earned LVL 6.75 million.


Rietumu Banka shareholder Leonids Esterkins was fourth on the list - LVL 6.72 million, followed by ABLV Bank's other main co-owner Ernests Bernis - LVL 6.27 million.


The co-owner of the agricultural company Agrolats Holding Jons Paskausks earned LVL 5.58 million last year, pharmaceutical company Repharm shareholder Josifs Apts earned LVL 5.48 million.


Eighth on the list is the former co-owner of Nelss holdings Uldis Asars - LVL 3.98 million, followed by Rietumu Banka shareholder Arkadijs Suharenko - LVL 3.52 million, and the owner of the company Finansu restrukturizacijas risinajumi Armands Strods - LVL 3.22 million.
