During the first flights of Air Lituanica 70% seats were filled

After the first week of real activity Lithuanian airline Air Lituanica has its first results. During the first flights to Brussels, averagely 70% of seats were filled. Today Air Lituanica will introduce its second direct flight – to Amsterdam, informs LETA/ELTA, referring to Lietuvos rytas.

There are 76 seats in the aircraft Embraer 170. During the first flight 72 seats were occupied, during the later flights the number of seats occupied varied. The aircraft Embraer 170 flying to Brussels for two hours is decorated with personal insignias of the two Lithuanian Grand Dukes Vytautas Magnus and Kestutis as well as with the double cross on the shield that is a personal insignia of Lithuanian Grand Duke Jogaila.

 

"Our brand shows the respect for Lithuanian origin, history and at the same time it continues the traditions of aviation. The double cross on the shield is a personal insignia of Grand Duke Jogaila. This cross was used by Lithuanian aviation between the two World Wars. The red colour used in the brand emphasises the security and the reliability of services," said Simonas Bartkus, Chief Commercial Officer at Air Lituanica. Air Lituanica launched the ticket sale a month ago. The first destinations this summer – Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin. In the upcoming autumn the company will introduce flights to Moscow, Munich and Prague.
