Latvian Chamber of Commerce export awards presented to Stali and Blind save

Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's export awards were presented to the wooden window and door producer Stali and floorball goalkeeper protective equipment producer Blind save yesterday, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Stali received the LCCI "Krisjanis Valdemars" award for Latvian companies with the greatest export potential, whereas Blind save was awarded "Spriditis" prize as the best new and innovative Latvian enterprise with great export potential.

 

Stali was established in 1992, the company currently employs 300 people and produces wooden windows, doors, furniture parts and wood pellets. A large share of the company's products is exported to the European Union member states and America.

 

This past March, the Priekuli-based Stali was sold by the American company Forreest Distribution to Estonian company Metsamaterjali Agentuur for LVL 3.8 million, according to Firmas.lv data.

 

On the other hand, Blind save was founded in February 2012 as one of the companies of JIC Business Incubator. The company's share capital is LVL 2,000; 55% of the company's shares belong to Andis Blinds, 45% to Edgars Rozentals.
