Wi-Fi zone to open in Vermanes Garden Park in Riga

Print versionCourtesy of Lattelecom, an outdoor Wi-Fi zone – one of several to be opened in Riga this spring, will be launched by Mayor Usakovs in Vermanes Garden Park today at 1 p.m., informs LETA.

At this time, Lattelecom has installed 600 free Internet access points in all of Riga, but this spring they will also be "popping up" in Bastejkalns, Grizinkalns, Ziedondarzs and other parks in the city.
The Wi-Fi zone – a park bench, in Vermanes Garden Park, will also be capable of re-charging your laptop.
