The first Estonian full-length 3D animated film "Lisa Limone and Maroc Orange, a Rapid Love Story" by director Mart Laas will premiere on Thursday in Tallinn's Solaris cinema, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

The film is also the world's first full length 3D puppet animation opera and brings to the viewer topics like illegal immigration and modern slavery.

It is a modern story of Romeo and Juliet about a North African boat refugee, orange-boy Maroc and ketchup industrialist's daughter Lisa Limone. The film is in Italian, French, English and Estonian languages and voiced by many well-known Estonian singers and actors.

It took 7 years to make the 72 minutes-long film, that had a budget of 1.1 million EUR. Filming alone took 2.5 years.
