The work of the Sillamäe plant is managed by Westaqua-Invest OÜ, which represents Aquaphor in Estonia since 2006. The company invested 5 million euros in Estonia to build the plant and acquire real estate.
The production lines were started in September and currently the capacity is 300,000 replacement elements of water filters a month. The plant uses a quarter of its capacity now and provides jobs for 4 people. The next production lines will be launched in January.
Aquafor's market share is over a third of Russia's water filters market.
