New car sales in Estonia grew by 8% in August

Print versionThe Estonian Car Sales and Servicing Companies Union AMTEL data indicates that 1,423 new cars were sold by its member dealerships in Estonia in August, which is by 8% more than a year ago, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

220 new utility vehicles were also sold.
The most popular car brand was in August was Toyota with 203 cars, followed by Škoda (139) and Volkswagen (134).
The most popular models were Toyota Avensis, Renault Megane and Škoda Octavia.
The statistics of AMTEL do not reflect the figures of Renault and Dacia Estonian distributors.
