Rezeknes galas kombinats increased turnover by 16% in 2011

Print versionTurnover of the meat processing company Rezeknes galas kombinats (RGK) last year reached LVL 21.6 million, which is a 16% increase on 2010, when turnover was LVL 18.51 million, according to information on Firmas.lv.

The company posted LVL 811,899 profit in 2011, which is a ten-fold increase on 2010, when the company earned LVL 68,486 in profit, writes LETA.
RGK was established in 2001 and it is the largest meat processing company in Latgale Province. The enterprise has over 380 employees.
RGK produces over 100 types of meat products – different types of sausages, smoked meat products, delicatessen and ready-made foods.
The company exports around eight% of its production to Estonia, Germany, Ireland and United Kingdom.
