The largest Lithuanian manufacturers expect the growth and the expansion of production in the third quarter of the year 2012. The expectations do not show any signs of the second wave of the crisis in Lithuania.

The data is indicated by the industry expectation index (PLI) calculated by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists who surveyed 130 directors of the country's largest manufacturing industry companies.

Analyst of Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists Aleksandras Izgorodinas says that all manufacturing sectors make optimistic production forecasts for the third quarter of 2012.

"() results suggest that we will see the further development of Lithuanian industry production in the Q3, despite the extremely complicated situation in external markets. The expectations of the largest Lithuanian manufacturers do not show any signs of the second wave of the crisis in Lithuania," said Izgorodinas, at a press conference, Tuesday.

The analyst points out that the intimidation spread by the politicians does Lithuanian economy a disservice. They should not be trusted because even the official statistics indicate the further development of the economy.
