Dobeles dzirnavnieks increased profit by 130% in 2012

In 2010, Dobeles dzirnavnieks operated with LVL 1.1 million profit, writes LETA/Nozare.lv.
As reported, the company achieved LVL 56.7 million in turnover in 2011, a 60% increase on 2010, when the company achieved LVL 35 million in turnover.
Dobeles dzirnavnieks points out that the company's turnover grew thanks to a two-fold increase in export that comprised LVL 25 million or 44% of the company's total turnover last year.
Thailand, Gambia, Equatorial Guinea, Israel, Panama and Indonesia have been added to Dobeles dzirnavnieks export markets, amounting to 16% of the total export volume.
Dobeles dzirnavnieks has attracted investments and considerably improved its production and logistics processes over the past three years. As a result, the company's costs were optimized and competitiveness increased, explained Dobeles dzirnavnieks Board Chairman Kristaps Amsils.
Last year, Dobeles dzirnavnieks signed agreements with Swedbank on LVL 4.56 million worth funding to improve its line of products, production and storage processes, and introduce new products, pointed out Amsils.
The total amount of investments in Dobeles dzirnavnieks reached LVL 5.9 million in 2011.
