Pure Food achieved LVL 15.47 mln in turnover in 2012; 23% growth

Print versionThe fruit and vegetable processing company Pure Food achieved LVL 15.47 million in turnover last year, which was 23% more when compared to 2010 when the company achieved LVL 12.58 million in turnover, according to information from Firmas.lv.

Meanwhile, Pure Food operated with LVL 279,793 in losses last year, compared to a profit of LVL 664,414 in 2010, writes LETA.
As reported, Belgian company Puratos purchased Pure Food last year.
Puratos is an international group producing ingredients for the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors with a specific focus on artisans, retailers and industrial clients.
With a turnover of EUR 1.1 billion (LVL 770 million), Puratos has a global presence in over 100 countries, with 56 production sites. The company's headquarters is located in Brussels.
