Estonian Air has already sold 30% of tickets to Tbilisi flights

The Estonia's national airline Estonian Air has started operating flights no Tallinn-Tbilisi route this Monday; the company managed to sell 30% of overall volume of tickets to Georgian capital for the current season, LETA/BBN reports.

Sven Kukemelk, business analyst with Estonian Air, said that 30% of the seats have been sold, and the cheaper tickets are likely to be sold out faster than those of the upper price.

 

Flights could be operated twice a day in future if the route, Kukemelk said.

 

"Tallinn could serve as the fastest connection to various European destinations for Georgian business travelers and as a lucrative travel destination for passengers coming from Europe," Kukemelk told news agencies.

 

As reported, Estonian Air opened the route from Tallinn to Georgia's capital Tbilisi for the first time in its 20 years of operations.

 

According to Rauno Parras, the Commercial Manager of Estonian Air, Georgia has a big potential as a tourist destination, which has not been discovered enough by Estonians.

 

Direct flights on Tallinn – Tbilisi route are operated four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

 

One-way fares from Tallinn to Tbilisi start from 89.90 euros and from Tbilisi to Tallinn 103.76 euros.
