Ekspress Grupp sales increased by 10%

The Estonian publishing group Ekspress Grupp's sales in December 2011 increased by 10% as compared to the same period in 2010, the company said in a statement.

When eliminating the one-time impact emerged from booking principle differences in accounting in Delfi Lithuania in 2010 and the impact of the acquisition of Eesti Päevaleht from the sales growth, the group's sales increased 6.1% in comparison with December 2010. The normalized growth of the online media segment was 9.2%, writes LETA.

Delfi Lithuania had the largest growth, which normalized result increased by 18.1%. Delfi Latvia increased by 5.5%, the sales of Delfi Estonia decreased.

When eliminating the impact of the acquisition of Eesti Päevalehe AS, the periodicals segment decreased by 6.4%. The decrease in the sales of book publishing had the greatest impact on the decrease of the periodicals segment. The advertising sales of all the periodicals increased, except for Eesti Päevaleht. The printing services segment grew by 20.1% in December.
