Tallink was Estonia’s biggest exporter in 2010

Tallink Grupp, the biggest Baltic ferry company, was Estonia’s biggest exporter in 2010, followed by fuel trading company Baltic International Trading and electronics producer Ericsson Eesti, according to a ranking by business newspaper Aripaev, reported by Bloomberg.

Tallink, which gets more than half of its revenue from on- board restaurant and shop sales, had revenue of 814 million euros in 2010, Aripaev said.
Baltic International Trading, which sells oil products and chemicals, had export revenue of 625 million euros in 2010. Ericsson Eesti AS, a unit of Stockholm-based wireless equipment maker Ericsson AB (ERICB), sold goods worth 554 million euros, informs LETA.
As reported, Tallink Grupp transported in November 2011 631,305 passengers which is nearly a two-percent increase compared to November 2010.
The number of passenger vehicles increased by almost one percent to 71,154 and trucks and trailers decreased by six percent to 24 820 units in same comparison.
