Draugiem.lv to have its own television

Print versionThe popular Latvian social network "Draugiem.lv" is working on its own television, Nozare.lv was informed by the portal's spokesman Janis Palkavnieks.

"Draugiem TV" will have an Internet television platform, which will broadcast a wide range of content – local and foreign, writes LETA.
"Draugiem TV" will purchase its content from various sources and will be interesting to various age groups, said Palkavnieks.
The television will offer both – free and paid content. There will be live broadcasts and on-demand content.
Palkavnieks promises that "Draugiem TV" will be revolutionary, however, declines to provide additional comments about the television's content.
"Draugiem TV" will be available on computers and modern TVs with the help of Internet connection.
Tomorrow, the National Electronic Mass Media Council will review "Draugiem TV" request for broadcast permission.
