Four startups from the Baltic States, including one from Latvia, are among the 15 chosen finalists of Nordic and Baltic state startup competition "Arctic15", according to the information from the event's organizers.

Latvia's representative is the project Campalyst – a platform that measures whether social media helps in brand selling. Publicly available information shows that the project is implemented by all three Baltic States together.

The other Baltic startups are from Estonia. Streamtainment is developing a platform that provides various applications, Internet contents and games on TV. 300mg provides information exchange on the Internet, but Achoo – an environment where achievements are shared, one's skills are shown and other persons' skills discovered.

The other "Arctic15" finalists are from Finland, Denmark and Sweden.

Altogether 100 startups had applied.

The winner will be announced at a conference in Helsinki on September 22, and will receive 10,000 euros in prize money, as well as 5,000 euros in advertising money.

During the conference, the finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to the media, investors, other likeminded entrepreneurs and community thought leaders, as well as find new potential partners.

Campalyst is also one of the Baltic projects that will take part in this week's "Seedcamp" event for startups in London. A total of 20 teams will participate. They will have the opportunity to meet with notable field experts, entrepreneurs, and investors.

"Seedcamp" is an investment fund that provides funding, as well as organizes mentoring programs for startups.
