British low-cost carrier Flybe will launch flights from Tartu to Helsinki and Tallinn to Stockholm and four Finnish cities in October, LETA/Delfi reports.

Flybe will fly from Tallinn to Oulu, Stockholm (Bromma), Tampere, Turku and Vaasa.

Flights will take place starting October 30.

Flybe’s European operations manager Mike Rutter said at a press conference on Wednesday that the company will not fool people with extra fees in the style of Ryanair, Postimees Online reports.

He assured that if people buy the cheapest economy class ticket, they get transport from point A to point B and can take 10 kg of hand luggage with them. No fees for check-in or fines for not printing one’s boarding card, he said.

Rutter said that they are considering flights inside the Baltic States, in addition to the six routes from Estonia announced today but was unwilling to speak more closely of them. But he did confirm that they will not fly from Estonia to UK.
