The opening of this exclusive hotel has been delayed on several occasions, however no specific reasons were announced.

Despite that, AAA chief manager Algimantas Smicius denied having any specific information about the delayed opening.

The Kempinski Hotel will perhaps become the most luxurious hotel in Lithuania.

Its opening has been delayed since 2007.

According to the plan, the hotel will have 96 rooms and suites, overnight room-service, and three meeting rooms. There will be a fully appointed health club and SPA with 6 treatment rooms, solarium, sauna steam room and 10 meter indoor pool.The design and style elements in the public areas and rooms are luxurious and elegant, reflecting individuality and distinction of the hotel.

The Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square is situated in the heart of the city, opposite the Cathedral Square and next to the Presidential Palace. The hotel is a historically listed and beautifully renovated building, originally constructed as Hotel New York 100 years ago. There will be an excellent view over the Cathedral Square and Old Town from many rooms.
