St Petersburg’s ship Princess Anastasia will make more stops in Tallinn

Shipping company St Peter Line will add from September 12 a stopover in Tallinn for its passenger ship Princess Anastasia in the route back from St Petersburg too, enabling more comfortable travelling between Tallinn and St Petersburg, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The decision was based on high interest of tourists towards trips to St Petersburg.
Princess Anastasia will start departing from Tallinn at 6 p.m. Sundays and arrives in St Petersburg Monday morning at 8 a.m. Passenger can spend a day in St Petersburg visa free.
The ship departs from St Petersburg to Tallinn Monday evening at 6 p.m. and returns to Tallinn Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. From Tallinn the ship sails to Stockholm.
“We have repeatedly stressed that we see developing shipping traffic between Tallinn and St Petersburg as having at present the biggest potential in the further development of the whole Estonian tourism sphere,” said AS Tallinna Sadam board chairman Ain Kaljurand.
