Print versionThe Sokos Hotel Viru in central Tallinn announced that it had 33,102 people stay in it in July 2011, yielding occupancy rate of 97.3% for the month: this is the absolute record of accommodating institutions in Tallinn, the hotel claims, as reported by Postimees Online.

The average occupancy rate of hotels in Tallinn was 89.5% in July, the hotel said.
The hotel’s sales manager Evelin Org said that the surge in hotel visits in Tallinn clearly refers to the consistent work of Tallinn 2011, Enterprise Estonia and other tourism organizations, reports LETA.
