A unique both indoor and outdoor winter entertainment centre in Druskininkai town, Lithuania, will be soon opened for its first visitors.

The Snoras Snow Arena will be completed and will start operating on August 26. By its all technical parameters, the slope gets in the list of the world's top five indoor skiing resorts and does not have equal rivals within a radius of at least of one thousand kilometres, the authorities of the arena say.

Located in Mizarai village near Druskininkai town, the Snoras Snow Arena will feature a 460m long and 50m wide main slope. The winter entertainment centre will also provide other leisure facilities, for example, a 25m high climbing wall, informs LETA/ELTA.

Under the concession agreement of Druskininkai municipality and the company Stamita, UAB, the latter will invest over LTL 50 million (EUR 14.5 million) in the centre. The bank Snoras has granted a LTL 58 million (EUR 17 million) loan to the company, while the municipality received LTL 40 million of the European Union support.
