Candy "Gotina" named most popular Latvian food product in Lithuania

The bite-size milk caramel candy "Gotina", one of Latvia's trademarks, has been named most popular Latvian food product in Lithuania by consumers, winning the "Namejs Award 2011" – a gold Namejs ring.

The candy is produced by Skriveru saldumi Ltd., informs LETA.

 

A taste-test of Latvian products was held, then a survey was taken via the Internet. "Gotina" was named the favorite, with 13,621 votes.
