Olainfarm sales increased by 41% in January-May

In the first five months of 2011, sales for the joint-stock pharmaceutical company Olainfarm increased by 41%, compared to the respective period last year, Nozare.lv was informed by Olainfarm’s board member Salvis Lapins.

In January-May 2011, the company's sales reached LVL 14.22 million.

 

The largest increase was recorded in Canada, where the company's sales grew more than 30-fold, in Moldova – 144%, in Uzbekistan – 118%, in Ukraine – 112%, in Great Britain – 100%, and in Latvia – 66%. Olainfarm’s main markets in January-May 2011 were Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia and Great Britain, writes LETA.

 

According to Olainfarm’s provisional data on May, the company's sales increased 52%, compared to May 2010, and reached LVL 2.9 million.

 

As reported, Olainfarm reached a record-high profit in the first quarter of 2011 – LVL 1.72 million.
