Spilva begins exporting its products to Kazakhstan

The first shipment of Spilva products to Kazakhstan consisted of 27,000 units.
Spilva products will be sold in over 100 shops in Alma-Aty, in such grocery store chains as ''Green'', ''Dastarhan'', ''Bekker'' and ''Keremet'', reports LETA.
At the end of May, Spilva made a shipment of its product to the Kazakh capital, Astana. An agreement has also been made to sell the company's products in Kazakhstan's largest grocery store chain ''Ramstore''.
As reported, Spilva operated with LVL 370,000 profit last year, which is 48 percent more than in 2009, when the company earned LVL 250,196.
Spilva’s turnover last year was LVL 11.1 million, whilst in 2009, it was 11.4 million.
Spilva is one of the leading fruit and vegetable processing companies in the Baltic countries; its products are exported to both the West and the East.
The company produces tomato sauces, ketchup, mayonnaise, dressings, canned vegetables, jams, desserts, mustard, natural juices, soups and various other products.
According to "Firmas.lv" information, Spilva’s share capital is LVL 100,048, and its shares belong to the Swedish company Procordia Food AB.
