Tolmets turnover increased by 71.41% in 2010

The joint-stock scrap metal processing and wholesale company Tolmets posted LVL 102,390,022 in audited turnover in 2010, which is 71.41% more than in 2009, according to the Registry of Enterprises' Lursoft data.

The company's profit grew by 33.8% and amounted to LVL 3,469,885.

 

Compared to 2009, Tolmets results have definitely improved, and it has returned to a pre-crisis level of 2007 and 2008. In 2008, the company's turnover amounted to LVL 121.34 million, pointed out Tolmets board chairwoman Inta Ozolina.

 

The first quarter of 2011 indicates that Tolmets results will be even better this year, since the company's turnover has increased LVL 0.5 million, compared to the first quarter of 2010, informs LETA.

 

Tolmets was established in 1999 and is the largest company in Latvia that purchases, processes and exports scrap metal. The company's share on Latvian market is 85%, on Baltic market – 50%.
