Riga called 'stalwart of stag weekend scene' by UK website

The prfire.co.uk website has an item today saying that events planners at Eclipse Leisure "know how to make a stag weekend the best it can be", and that a 2011 costs barometer reveals that "Eastern Europe is still within budget for those stags wanting to venture a little further from home."

The informational advert goes on to say: "A stalwart of the Stag weekend scene, the Latvian capital of Riga, topped the Post Office City's Costs Barometer and is the location for some very unique activities. Eclipse Leisure offers activities ranging from 'Stag in a Soviet Prison' (giving your Stag the true Stag experience, but none of the paperwork) to bobsleighing by day and the mandatory lap dancing by night, reports LETA.

Coming in at second place is Tallinn in Estonia – the beautiful capital city where entertainment ranges from quad bike safaris to the go-kart grand prix, all with the aim of building up the appetite for an evening eating dinner off a gorgeous girl.

Traditionally, places like third placed Prague have been the destination of choice for the more adventurous Stag weekend, and with a bottle of lager in Prague costing just £1.41, this is certainly an attractive Stag weekend mecca."

Other cities are mentioned as well, and in conclusion, information that "Eclipse Leisure [a UK enterprise] has been organizing innovative and bespoke Stag weekends since 1999."
