Girf to start reducing queues at Estonian-Russian border

Print versionEstonian interior minister Marko Pomerants will conclude on Monday a management contract with Girf OÜ for the company to create and start managing an information system meant to ease the long queues at the Estonian-Russian border, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

Girf was declared the winner of a public competition held by the interior ministry.
The service will have to be offered in Narva, Koidula and Luhamaa highway border checkpoints. Girf has to be ready to offer the service from August 1 this year and the contract is valid 5 years.
